First Time Visitors
Park in the parking lot and enter through the double doors to the right. The Fellowship Hall is to the right as you enter. Restrooms are straight ahead and the sanctuary is up the stairs. There is additional handicapped parking in the front of the church on the access road parallel to Rhode Island Avenue, that allows visitors to enter the sanctuary by way of a ramp.
What to Expect
Sunday services last about an hour. Our service is traditional but you can never tell when the pastor, a ministry group, or the youth might present a service that is completely different.
Come as you are. At CPUMC you will see people worshiping in blue jeans, shorts and suits.
Bring the kids. We provide nursery for children under five, but infants are welcome in our worship service. You can even grab a rocking chair in the back of the sanctuary. A children's message is incorporated into the main worship service and all ages participate fully in worship. Often the kids sit up front with the acolytes, under the supervision of our acolyte leaders.
After the service, come down to the Fellowship Hall for coffee and snacks. Many people hang around after the service to put their feet up and share how their week has gone. Don't be surprised if you are invited to a game of dominoes or freeze tag, depending on your age.
